After the 4 first episodes of how to make a $5 trainer unbreakable Airplane With Cardboard, you learn today in EP5 How To assemble the motor mount to the brushless motor and how to solder the motor and ESC together to make the motor turn CCW and add an XT60 connector
so we can test if the motor turns the correct way using a servo tester and then finally add a prop adapter and propeller to have a full working system ready to be installed to the firewall

David Davids: GAWD. at 1:22, NO one, and i mean no ONE, solders motor wires to an esc !! the use of connectors makes it EASY to establish a correct direction of motor rotation or to change-out a motor. at 3:00, B S. that little label is NOT an issue. and that sticker is NOT the sticker that goes with that motor; since it is Not 22 x 12 mm motor. and at 3:25, we have a flexy orange SLOW-FLYER prop. cheers

DIY Rc: I've seen the manufacturing video of the motors and the balance them before testing and later on after testing, they add the sticker and removing the sticker made the motor create fewer vibrations on my earthquake app and the bearings last a lot longer it's similar to your car tires and very important to clean the entire wheels not only the chrome rims on the outside that everyone sees
